Penjaringan District's Head of Water Resources Unit, Pendi said the water channel revitalization is run based on the local RW caretaker's request.

He explained that the revitalization is run along six meters by using 40 HD u-ditch. The project has been running since October 6, 2025 by deploying one excavator and eight personnel.
"The progress has reached 65 percent. Hopefully it can be completed this week," he explained.
Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Afiana Serawati Messakh (41), appreciated the unit for handling the inundation problem.
"Personnel's work is quick. Now the channel looks neater by using u-ditch," she admitted.
